Eight field test sites from around the country were chosen to conduct Family Engineering Field Test Events from February – May 2010. The field test sites received training, activity materials, and support from the Family Engineering program and each conducted five separate Family Engineering Field Test Events for a variety of diverse audiences. The sites implemented extensive evaluation on all aspects of the Family Engineering program, including activity content and pedagogy, delivery methods, event models and different facilitator types. The valuable feedback and results of the Field Testing will be used to inform the final revisions and content development for the Family Engineering publication scheduled for publication in Spring 2011.
